We're pleased to offer the following services at Stevens Point Animal Hospital:

Wellness Care:

From the first puppy/kitten visit, to the time when your pet becomes a proud senior citizen, we are here to establish a close relationship with you and your pet.  Services include:

  • Routine wellness exams with any needed vaccinations
  • Screening testing for diseases such as heartworm and Lyme
  • Intestinal parasite testing and treatment
  • Comprehensive senior wellness testing to find diseases before your pet is ill
  • Treatment of external parasites such as fleas and ticks
  • Microchip placement
  • Educational information regarding a variety of topics

We utilize the latest technology for in-clinic laboratory testing to assure accurate, prompt results when your pet is ill.  This also allows us to perform same day pre-anesthetic labwork prior to your pet's surgical procedure.  We partner with IDEXX laboratories which enables us to offer more specialized testing when indicated.

Our radiology unit gives us the ability to look deeper into concerns about your pet.  We are excited to be the only clinic in the Stevens Point area to be PennHIP certified in diagnosing hip dysplasia at a younger age.

Surgery: Surgical Laser

We provide a wide range of soft tissue surgical services including elective procedures such as spays, neuters, and declaws.  Our CO2 surgical laser means less pain and bleeding during surgery and a faster recovery for your pet.

We work closely with local referral clinics should your pet ever need an orthopedic procedure or a more advanced surgery.

We are skilled in performing routine dental work including cleaning, scaling , and polishing your pet's teeth. We also have the ability to perform a variety of extractions while using our high speed dental unit and have the ability to take dental digital radiographs to help with determining on whats best for your pets teeth.
